Despite this positive trend, there was a slight decrease of 4.1% in sales when compared to January figures, according to statistics provided by SNIC.

An important indicator, the daily sales per working day, stood at 219.8 thousand tons in February, reflecting a decrease of 0.8% year-on-year and a 1.3% drop compared to the year-to-date figures. SNIC's data also indicates that in the cumulative period of 2024, approximately 9.4 million tons of cement have been sold, representing a modest increase of 0.6% compared to the same period last year.
