Cement Deliveries in Morocco Surpass 2.2 Million Tonnes by End of February

The Moroccan cement industry records a 7.52% increase in deliveries, reaching over 2.2 million tonnes in the first two months of 2024, showcasing robust sector growth.

The Moroccan Professional Association of Cement Producers (APC) reported a notable rise in cement deliveries within Morocco, totaling more than 2.2 million tonnes by the end of February 2024.

This represents a 7.52% increase compared to the same period last year, highlighting the industry's strong performance. February alone saw sales amounting to 1.07 million tonnes, up by 8.55% from February 2023.

The APC, comprising Asment Témara, Ciments de l’Atlas, Ciments du Maroc, LafargeHolcim Maroc, and Novacim, emphasizes this growth as a significant contribution to the construction sector's momentum. The increase is seen as a positive indicator for the Moroccan economy and the cement market's resilience.
